Pitsford Mothers Union is part of a worldwide organisation working together helping families through programmes, campaigning through communities and prayer.

We in Pitsford are a very small group (hoping to grow) meeting together on the first Monday of each month. Having speakers and social times and fund-raising. At the May Festival raising £110 to go towards the work of the Mothers Union.

We helped to do the posies for Mothering Sunday and have been involved with Messy church. We have knitted the Lambs for the mobile nativity scenes and also knitting teddies to go to Women's Refuge, the Police and to The Red Cross.

We now have a new project organised making aprons with zips and buttons similar to a toddler playstation so that people with dementia can play with.

We raised £80 through a cream tea fund raiser for the new heating system in All Saints Church.

We raised £30 for the Daylight Centre in Wellingborough that was set up by the branches of Peterborough Dioceses, now run by Social Services and supported by the Mothers Union branches

We also help to send families on holidays. If there is anyone for whatever reason needs help with a holiday please contact the members of the Mothers Union.
